Journalists from the Catalan newspaper Sport have previously reported on a potential replacement for the Polish striker.

"I think we will gradually see the departure of Robert Lewandowski this season," Lluis Carrasco said in an interview with Jijantes FC.

Spanish journalists recently reported that Barcelona's management has begun actively searching for a replacement for the 158-cap Polish international.

According to reports, via Sport, Atlético Madrid's Julián Álvarez is high on the Blaugrana's list of transfer targets.

Barcelona will begin preparations for the new season on July 13th, when the reigning La Liga champions return to training.

Before the season kicks off, Hansi Flick's side will travel to Asia for three preseason friendlies against Vissel Kobe of Japan, and South Korean sides FC Seoul and Daegu FC.
