Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has set another record with his team's UEFA Super Cup triumph over Europa League champions Sevilla.
The Spanish coach is one of the best managers of his generation and is no stranger to setting records. He has now achieved another milestone with tonight's victory.
The match in brief
Despite Manchester City having more possession of the ball, it was Sevilla who found the opener, thanks to a towering header by Youssef En-Nesyri.
The English champions scored an equaliser in the second half, thanks to a header of their own in the 63rd minute by youngster Cole Palmer.
The game remained 1-1 at full-time and went into penalty shootouts. The Cityzens scored all five of theirs, while Nemanja Gudelj missed the fifth and final penalty for the Spanish team.
