He is very powerful — Kolo Toure hails Super Eagles star ahead of AFCON final

Ivory Coast and Arsenal legend Kolo Toure has praised Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen ahead of the 2023 AFCON final.

Osimhen has scored just once in Cote d'Ivoire but the 25-year-old has been a constant menace to opposition defenders throughout the tournament.

Toure paid tribute to the Napoli man's strength and speed and highlighted the danger he would pose to Ivorians in the final.

Speaking about the Nigerian, Toure told the BBC: “Osimhen is a super powerful player, he’s got unbelievable speed.

 “He has scored only one goal so far but what he brings to that team is incredible.” He added, 

“As soon as Nigeria has the ball they will look for Osimhen in the space because he is super quick. They need to be really ready for the ball, and just anticipate that and run behind as fast as they can.”
