Osimhen signed a contract extension with Napoli, but the club slapped a staggering £110million release clause on the deal, putting off some of his potential suitors.

A move to French champions Paris Saint-Germain was reportedly in the works, but that deal collapsed as the Ligue 1 side are not in the market for a new striker.

Two months have passed since the end of last season, and Osimhen is still a Napoli player, with no clear end in sight for the future of the in-demand forward.

However, in a bombshell admission, Napoli director Manna has now revealed that Osimhen has openly stated his desire to leave the club.
