The Sweden international joined from Sporting Lisbon for £63.5 million and has already netted two goals for the North London club.
White and Gyökeres were previously teammates in Brighton's youth ranks and are both playing for Arsenal.
What Ben White said about Gyokeres
"He's a monster. He lives for goals and is always a threat to your net. You really don't want to face him on the pitch because you can't physically stop him anyway.
He's going to help us a lot and won't need any adaptation, as he's already played in England. You've seen people before who arrive here and struggle," White stated, as reported by Sportal.
"Viktor is already accustomed to everything at Arsenal. He was at Coventry, then we played many games together at Brighton. He's seen what it's all about and knows what to expect from defences.
"I honestly can't find a bad word to say about him. This guy is one of the most serious professionals in training. Just like Martin Ødegaard," the defender concluded.
