‘Hopefully, we sign some players’ - Arsenal star looking forward to new signings at the Emirates
The Gunners failed to challenge Liverpool for the Premier League title, having been hit with several injuries to key players.
Mikel Arteta’s men had to settle for second position for the third time in a row and had to beat Newcastle 1-0 at the Emirates to secure UEFA Champions League football next season.
Many fans had to blame the manager and the board for failing to address the basic issues the team was facing in the transfer window.
What Rice said
Following Arsenal’s revenge on Newcastle on Sunday evening, Rice made mention of the Gunners bringing in new players in the transfer window.
According to Hand of Arsenal on X, Rice said, “Hopefully we sign some players in the summer because we are going to lose some.”

Arsenal failed to bring in any players during the January transfer window and could lose some players at the end of the season.
However, with the Gunners needing new players in the team in the summer transfer window, they are already making moves.
Arsenal have already confirmed the signing of Spanish midfielder Martín Zubimendi after activating his release clause.
The Gunners are also close to confirming a deal for Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyökeres to boost their attacking options.
