Rodri has taken a swipe at Real Madrid following the Spanish giants' victory over the Premier League giants in the Champions League quarter-final second-leg tie on Wednesday.

Rodrygo initially put Real Madrid ahead, but a second-half goal from Kevin De Bruyne leveled the score.

Nevertheless, Carlo Ancelotti’s side secured advancement to the semi-finals with a 4-3 penalty shootout victory.

Speaking at the post-match interview, Rodri insisted that he only saw one team [Man City] trying to win.

The Spaniard said: “I saw only one team today, to be honest.

“They defended and they knew how to suffer and we know how tough Real Madrid is. But, in my opinion, we should go through, in terms of chances and everything.

“It’s the trickiness of the competition. They know how to play, congratulations to them.”
