‘I watch Galatasaray for Osimhen’ - Ex-Turkey star claims Super Eagles star has changed his mentality

The 25-year-old played for Galatasaray on Sunday, helping the Turkish team continue their winning streak this year.

Galatasaray defeated third-place Samsunspor 3-2 thanks to two incredible goals from the Super Eagles star.

In his last nine games in all competitions, the forward has already scored eight goals and provided three assists.

Yalcin, a former Turkey international who played for Galatasaray, is pleased with the team's performance this season and thinks Osimhen's presence has been a major factor.

According to Le Marca Sports on X, Yalcin said, “I didn’t know a player called Osimhen until I came here. Now I am watching him firsthand and paying attention.

“He is a complete center forward, an incredible transfer. I watch Galatasaray matches for Osimhen. 

“I follow whether he will head the ball, whether he will do an overhead kick, or how he will serve.”

Osimhen has been commended by Yalcin for his outstanding impact on Galatasaray since joining the team last summer.
