"I will enjoy every moment" - Ederson unveiled after completing move to Fenerbahçe
In his senior career, Ederson has played for Ribeirão, Rio Ave, Benfica, and Manchester City, where he had been since the 2017/2018 season. Fenerbahçe is the next chapter.
The goalkeeper achieved a lot at City, winning several trophies and setting a record for the only shot stopper with the most assists in the Premier League.
The Brazilian was replaced by PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma this summer after Manchester City agreed to a fee with the French side.
Ederson joins Fenerbahçe
Ederson has been officially unveiled as a Fenerbahçe player. Manchester City and the Turkish club had previously confirmed the transfer of the Brazilian international goalkeeper in a deal worth around €15 million, including bonuses.
The former Benfica player has signed a three-year contract with Fenerbahçe, with an option for an additional year.
"I'm very happy to be here. My goal is to win championships and contribute to the team. This is a new and important challenge for me. I believe we will achieve great things.
"I will enjoy every moment I'm here. With the support of the fans, we will have a great season," said the 32-year-old, formerly of Benfica, while holding his new Fenerbahçe jersey, as reported by Abola.
Devin Ozek, Fenerbahçe's Director of Football, commented on Ederson's signing: "We are very happy. In my opinion, Ederson is one of the top five goalkeepers in the world. This transfer is being talked about all over the world."
