Praise for the performance in the French Cup final against Reims (3-0) was abundant. "It was a very good match and served as preparation for the Champions League final.
"The players delivered an incredible response; they were focused and confident," the coach stated, as reported by Abola.
Luis Enrique makes no secret that all thoughts are turned towards the final in Munich against Inter next Saturday: "Of course, it's a very important moment. We want to make history.
"We're ready. We are a true team, and we want to win trophies. The Champions League final will be a special moment for everyone, and there's no special preparation. We'll have to deal with a lot of pressure, but we have to prepare ourselves in the best possible way."
The biggest challenges have been identified: "It's not easy to manage everything surrounding the team. We're a young team, but with experience, eager to know what we want to do on the pitch. We hope to celebrate winning the Champions League. We'll see..."
