Boniface speaks on moving to the Premier League

Speaking on The Culture League podcast alongside Frank Onyeka, the Europa League finalist explained his reservations. “It’s not that I wouldn’t consider the Premier League if the right opportunity arose,” Boniface stated. “But it would have to be the right type of team.”

He elaborated on his decision-making process: “Before I sign with any club, I carefully consider their style of play. Does it suit my strengths? Is it a high-pressure environment? Some players struggle under intense scrutiny.”

Boniface revealed he had lucrative offers from England after a successful season in Belgium with Union Saint-Gilloise. “The money was good, but the teams weren’t the right fit,” he admitted. “I thrive in possession-based systems. I could join a team and be the star player, but if we lose, the blame often falls on one person.”
