Italian couple name their child after Super Eagles star Ademola Lookman after scoring against Marseille

Lookman has had a tremendous season having contributed to the Super Eagles' performance at the just concluded AFCON 2023 tournament.

He has also contributed to Atalanta's advancement to the Europa League final, where they will take on Bayer Leverkusen.

Lookman contribution to Atalanta's advancement to the Europa League final has caught the attention of an Italian couple.

Atalanta advanced to the final of the Europa League after defeating Marseille in a 4-1 aggregate score.

The Super Eagles forward opened the scoring for Atalanta before Ruggeri and Toure sealed the win in their second-leg semi-final tie.

Ademola’s performance was recognised by a couple who live in Palosco, a district in Bergamo where the Italian club is based.

According to reports from EuroFoot on X, “Somebody named their child after Ademola Lookman following his goal which helped send the Italian club to the Europa League final!”

The Atalanta star has scored nine goals, providing six assists in the Serie A and two goals in the Europa League.

He will be preparing for his Europa League final match against his international teammate Boniface, who is a Bayer Leverkusen player.

Leverkusen are yet to lose a game this season and have gone 49 games unbeaten in all competitions.
