‘It's not fair’ - Alisha Lehmann claims she’s been paid 100 times less money than her boyfriend

The Switz international moved from Aston Villa to Juventus this summer for an undisclosed fee after three seasons with the WSL team.

The 25-year-old forward joined her boyfriend Douglas Luiz, who also moved to Juventus from Aston Villa.

However, she has expressed her displeasure with her current pay and claimed that she is been treated unfairly.

Lehmann has complained about her earnings, insisting that the thought of receiving a lesser amount of money affects her,

According to CenterGoal on X, Alisha Lehmann (Douglas Luiz's girlfriend) said, “I do the same job as Douglas, play for the same club but I earn 100 times less money. It's not fair. It's something that affects me, because I'm a woman...”

The Juventus women's star pointed out that she does the same job as her boyfriend but still earns 100 times less than him.

She further asserted that the reason she does not receive the same treatment and compensation as men is because she is a woman.

Lehmann's Juventus career is off to a fantastic start after she netted her first goal in a thrilling nine-goal encounter against Sassuolo on her Serie A debut.

The forward has since enjoyed her new club and claimed the move was the best decision she has ever made.
