The YouTuber-turned-boxing sensation Jake Paul has reshaped the heavyweight boxing class in ways that no one anticipated.
Paul is already aiming for a more difficult task: a possible bout with former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, following his stunning victory over boxing great Mike Tyson.
The fighter's ambitious aspirations were disclosed by his promotional partner, Nakisa Bidarian.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Bidarian said: “Jake's feedback to me was I want to do that fight.
"Not now. But I want to do that fight. To be a world champion at cruiserweight, he wants to do that.”
“The other is to test the limits of expectations. Test the limits of what's possible.
"This event with Mike Tyson, that tested the limits of what was possible for the world to see and him fighting Anthony Joshua or Daniel Dubois is kind of the same thing.
“Jake weighed in at 227lbs but really he walks around at 215. But he'll do it for the right environment, the right framework.”
There have been reports about IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois texting Paul about a fight.
Paul is expected to be out of action until 2025 with a possible title fight on his return.
