Kelechi Nwakali: Forgotten Super Eagle shows off his ₦95 MILLION Mercedes following Finidi snub

Nigerian footballer Kelechi Nwakali has taken to social media to flex his wealth, showcasing his lavish lifestyle despite being overlooked for national team duties.

The forgotten Super Eagles midfielder, opted to display his off-field luxury, posting a snapshot with his 2020 Mercedes Benz CLA-200 on X.

Captioning the post with "Just a local boy from the east," Nwakali proudly paraded his sleek ride, valued at a whopping ₦95 million ($59,500).

Nwakali’s Mercedes boats an engine of 1.3-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol with a top speed of 229 km/h.

As the Super Eagles gear up for their friendly showdown against Ghana, all eyes are on the coaching shuffle and player selection.

Eyimba head coach and ex-Nigeria international Finidi George has already stepped in to lead the Super Eagles after the departure of Jose Peseiro, who guided the team to the AFCON 2023 finals in February.

Despite the anticipation surrounding the match, Nwakali finds himself on the sidelines, having been omitted from the squad for the Ghana clash.

Currently plying his trade with Portuguese side Chaves, the 25-year-old midfielder continues to make waves in the league, tallying 4 assists in 26 appearances this season.

However, since AFCON 2021, Nwakali has not received a call-up for the Super Eagles.
