Harambee Starlets duo of Jentrix Shikangwa and Wincate Kaari have been both names in Tanzania Women's Premier League team of the season.

Both players have been outstanding for their respective clubs in the 2022/23 season that recently drew to a close.

Shikangwa played a crucial role in Simba Queens' second-placed finish, with the former Vihiga Queens striker scooping the Golden Boot after bagging 17 league goals this season.

Meanwhile, Kaari, a versatile defender who previously played for Gaspo Women FC and Thika Queens, displayed consistent and impressive performances for Yanga Princesses.

Despite her team finishing fourth in the league standings, Kaari's defensive skills and contributions were highly valued. 

Her three-season experience with Yanga Princesses showcased her commitment and dedication to the team's success.

Shikangwa's Simba Queens had three players on the list, while champions JKT Queens had four, with Yanga producing two, while Fountain Gate Princess and Alliance Girls had a player on the team.
