Lamine Yamal: Reactions as Barcelona star makes history with goal for Spain against France
Teenager Lamine Yamal of Barcelona scored a spectacular goal for Spain against France on Tuesday, making history as the youngest player to score at a European Championship.
After Randal Kolo Muani had given France the lead, Yamal equalized for La Roja on minute 21, leaving his mark in history.
The Barcelona player opened his international career in spectacular fashion, curling the ball over goalkeeper Mike Maignan from outside the penalty area.

The goal means Yamal is the youngest ever Euros goalscorer at the age of 16 years and 362 days, beating the record previously held by Johan Vonlanthen.
At the age of eighteen years, four months, and twenty days, the Swiss player had already topped the charts after scoring against France in 2004.
Yamal had created history even before the game began. In addition, he broke Pele's previous record by being the youngest player to appear in a semifinal of the World Cup or the European Championship.

Lamine Yamal, who turns 17 on July 13, is also the youngest player to have appeared in the Euros.
With three assists so far in the competition, Yamal shares the lead in assists among players and is quickly gaining the most attention ahead of Euro 2024.
