'Make sure they keep laughing together' - Bayer Leverkusen tell Liverpool after selling two key players

Jeremie Frimpong was Liverpool's first signing for the new season, announced on May 30th.

This Friday, the club confirmed the arrival of forward Florian Wirtz for a record fee of £116m and a five-year deal.

Both players arrive from Bayer Leverkusen, who yesterday posted several farewell messages for the forward on social media.

The German side sent a direct message telling the Reds that the pair will remain together, now wearing a new jersey.
