Manchester United fans to sleep outside Old Trafford in protest
Fans of Premier League giants Manchester United have planned a protest which will see them sleep outside the club’s hallowed Old Trafford Stadium on Friday, just two days after getting knocked out of the EFL Cup at the same venue.

Despite the club’s ongoing hardship, supporters have decided to get involved in a charitable gesture, raising awareness for the less privileged in the Greater Machester area.
Instead of protesting the state of the club, as has been the norm in recent months, up to 100 Manchester United supporters will gather outside Old Trafford to protest the hardship faced by homeless youth in the Greater Manchester area.

The annual sleepout, in its second year, aims to raise awareness and money for the at-risk youth of the area as winter approaches.

The club announced that it will be observing the sleepout challenge alongside a local charity that raises money for youth homelessness and partnered with them for the event last year as well.
They also noted that the sleepout will take place at the club’s M16 terraces, as opposed to the Munich Tunnel, where last year’s event was held.
Manchester United will be hoping that their charitable works will bring some good fortune on the pitch as well, as the club looks to turn around a difficult period.
