Manchester United are prepared to meet Barcelona's €70 million asking price for one of their top young talents, Fermin Lopez, according to "Sport."
Barcelona are reportedly willing to part with the midfielder, despite a strong season, in order to register new signings Marcus Rashford and Joan Garcia.
Hansi Flick has plenty of midfield options, and it's expected that Rafinha will frequently play in the number 10 role to allow Rashford more minutes on the wing. Marc Bernal is also returning after a lengthy injury layoff.
The funds from Lopez's sale would be pure profit for Barcelona, helping the club move closer to complying with financial fair play regulations.
For the same reason, they are also reportedly open to offers for Marc Casado, who has attracted interest from Atletico Madrid.
The 22-year-old Lopez made 46 appearances for Barcelona last season, scoring 8 goals and providing 10 assists.
