Mo Kudus 'Will Be Africa's Best & Ballon d'Or winner' - Coach makes bold prediction
The sky is the limit for Ghana and West Ham United sensation Mohammed Kudus according to his former football coach Jeremy Seethal.
Pulse Sports Nigeria reports that Seethal has boldly predicted that Kudus will become the best player in Africa in two years and eventually go on to conquer Europe.
Kudus for West Ham and Ghana
The 23-year-old has become a shining light for his country’s national team, the Black Stars, and Premier League side, West Ham.
Kudus sealed a move to the Hammers from Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam following an impressive showing for Ghana at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
He has proven to be a real value for money signing by David Moyes and West Ham after his 45 million transfer from the Eredivisie in the summer.
Kudus has become a fan favourite in London after an impressive start to life in England has seen him score six goals and assist another in 16 matches in the Premier League.
The sensational Hammers forward has taken his club to the 2023 AFCON, where he has scored two goals for the Black Stars.
Mo to win Africa’s best and Ballon d’Or
Following his excellent form, Kudus has been tipped to rule Africa in two years and to also win the Ballon d’Or at some point in his career.
His former manager, Seethal said this according to a report by tbrfootball.
“Give it two years, Kudus will be the best African player,” Seethal stated emphatically.
“I am confident one day he will win the Ballon d’Or,” he added. “Everyone has seen his growth, now he’s shining at the highest level. He’s a superstar.”
Despite showing his superstar status in Cote d’Ivoire in the game against Egypt, Kudus’ remarkable performance was not enough to earn Ghana a win.
With the Black Stars in danger of crashing out in the group stage of the competition for the second tournament in a role, Ghanaians will be hoping that their main man would weave his magic wand in the final game of the group stage against Mozambique to keep their AFCON 2023 hopes alive.
