Mourinho's former club appoint new manager Ivan Juric after recent sacking
Roma started the new season with De Rossi, but the team struggled with their performance in their first four games.
The Italian side failed to register a win in the Serie A, having just three draws and a loss in their first four games.
The situation of the team led to the sacking of De Rossi, the club legend, despite being appointed in January 2024.
Roma get new manager
AS Roma has appointed Juric as their new manager for the rest of the season after a poor start to the Serie A campaign.
According to ESPN, Juric joined Roma on a one-year contract, having managed Genoa, Crotone, Hellas Verona and Torino.
He will be looking to make an impression in his next game and get Roma back on track for the new season.
De Rossi, who spent nearly two decades at Roma as a player, took over as head coach in January after Jose Mourinho was fired.
The former Italian player signed a contract extension until 2027 in June but did not last more than nine months.
Roma said in an official statement, "Daniele De Rossi has been relieved of his duties as head coach of the first team.
"The club's decision is made in the best interests of the team, to get back on the desired path as soon as possible at a time when the season is still in its early stages."
Roma will host Udinese on Sunday and will be hoping to get their first win of the season under new manager Juric
