Mwatate United player Erick Oindo passes on

Described as a good swimmer, investigations are reported to be underway to determine the cause of his death.

National Super League side Mwatate United have confirmed the death of their defender Erick Mwemba Oindo alias Gor.

The club confirmed the sad news on Monday night which has sent shock waves throughout the Kenyan sports scene.

“We are mourning . What a sad evening . We have lost one of our players. Rest in Peace Gor," the club posted on social media pages.

There were no further details from Mwatate United by Tuesday morning, though it is reported that club management and the players met on Monday night.
