“It feels good, this is a huge one for me,” Osimhen said during a media timeout in Lagos.

“For me, it was not even my target (heading into the season). I just wanted to score more goals and as i used to say, i don’t set targets for myself when the season wants to start.”

“I just want to get as many goals as i can score. But of course, to see that it was becoming a reality to become the best (African) striker in the history of Serie A, then, i started to like put two things in my head - to win the scudetto first, the priority of the clubs, fans and also for me, then, secondly, to make history with this.”

Speaking further on his feat, Osimhen added that he feels good and happy with what he had achieved but believes records are there to be broken.
