Ndidi: Super Eagles star shows off Seychelles trip as Leicester City win in pre-season

Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is back again on social media trends.

The 26-year-old has taken to social media to show off how he spent his vacation.

After expressing frustration as Leicester City got relegated from the Premier League, Ndidi played a crucial role for Nigeria during the last international break.

He featured for all 90 minutes as the Super Eagles of Nigeria recorded a late 3-2 victory against Sierra Leone in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) played at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium, Monrovia, Liberia.

The victory moved the Super Eagles to the top of the group as they picked up a ticket to the AFCON in Ivory Coast next year.

On Sunday, July 16, Ndidi took to social media to show off how he spent his vacation.

According to the post, Ndidi was in Seychelles during the off-season.

The post came after Ndidi featured for Leicester City as they continued their preparations for the upcoming Championship season with a win over Northampton Town at Sixfields.

Head Coach  Enzo Maresca brought in  Ndidi to play the final half-hour of the match. 

During the game, Ndidi surprisingly played in the number eight position and impressed, showing his offensive ability.

Ndidi's latest post comes after he celebrated his wife Dinma Fortune on their wedding anniversary.
