Former Super Eagles defender Taye Taiwo has called for three Nigerian footballers abroad to consider moving to more prestigious clubs, stating the urgency of their situations.

Ola Aina's Situation
Taiwo highlighted that Ola Aina, currently with Nottingham Forest, should not be allowed to leave the club for free this summer.
He stated, "Nottingham Forest cannot afford to let Aina leave for free in June. It is time to act. Unless they offer him a new contract, he should already be in discussions with possible suitors."
Taiwo praised Aina's abilities, asserting that he is among the best right-backs in the league and would have no trouble finding a new club if he decides to move.
The 27-year-old has been one of the standout performers this season, with his two goals helping Forest to a shocking third place in the League.
Gabriel Osho's Potential
Regarding Gabriel Osho, who recently joined Ligue 1 side Auxerre, Taiwo believes he is "vastly underrated" and should seek opportunities elsewhere.
"If a better opportunity arises, it would be beneficial for both Osho and Auxerre,” Taye said. “He's a great defenseman, and I think he's vastly underrated. He should not hesitate if an interesting offer materialises.”
The 26-year-old, who joined the French side as a free agent in the summer, has featured 12 times and scored one goal for his new club.
Fisayo Dele-Bashiru's Future
Taiwo also urged Dele-Bashiru, formerly of Manchester City, to make his loan move to Lazio permanent.
He noted that Serie A offers a more glamorous environment compared to Turkey, adding, "In his place, I would sign for Lazio because the scene is much more prestigious.”.
The 39-year-old legend stated that Dele-Bashiru's contributions since joining Lazio, where he has made five decisive contributions in 13 games, are enough to convince the club to sign him.
Taiwo’s comments also saw him demand for moves for two Super Eagles superstars Ademola Lookman and Victor Osimhen.
