Nigerian international wins Bayer Leverkusen goal of the month award

Nigerian international Nathan Tella has been recognised for his outstanding strike in Bayer Leverkusen's 3-2 win over Borussia Dortmund, earning him the club's Goal of the Month award for January.

Tella's powerful shot from the edge of the box, set up by Robert Andrich, proved to be a decisive moment in the match.

The goal was not only his first league goal of the season but also his first goal of the month award since joining the club.

The 25-year-old winger beat out stiff competition from Alejandro Grimaldo, Florian Writz, and Patrick Schick to claim the individual accolade.
