Nigerians want you to go there — Sunday Oliseh advises Osimhen on next move

Victor Osimhen remains one of the most talked-about players in Europe, with his exit from Napoli almost guaranteed at this point.

It is no secret the Nigerian has been linked to several clubs regarding an exit, including the likes of Al Hilal, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and even Juventus.

Despite constant media speculation, the 26-year-old goal-machine remains on the books of Napoli as the transfer window heats up.

One man who knows what it's like to be in the spotlight is Nigerian midfield legend Sunday Oliseh, and the former captain shared his thoughts on the situation, advising Osimhen to avoid the Saudi Pro League and make the move to England.

Speaking on Lagos Talks 91.3 FM, Oliseh said;

“I think he (Osimhen) is a huge asset to Nigerian football, but like every top asset, we all have our shortcomings.

"We have to be able to find solutions and work around it.

“This is a player that if he wants to continue to be in the limelight, he has to go to the Premier League.

“Nigerians want to see him there. He has been linked with Arsenal and Chelsea for a long time.“But for him to play that way, for him to become that big, there are many things he has to change.”
