‘No more Onana slander’ — Manchester United fans in disbelief as Cameroonian goalkeeper rescues them against Copenhagen
Manchester United fans have changed their tune about Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana, who was the hero as they claimed their first UEFA Champions League win of the campaign against Copenhagen.
Onana rescues Manchester United against Copenhagen
The match started with Manchester United fans paying tribute to the hero of their first-ever European Cup title, Sir Bobby Charlton, but at the end of the match, they were paying homage to another hero in Onana.
The Cameroonian goalkeeper faced the third penalty in three games in the Champions League, but this time the stakes were even higher than previous matches.
One scored, one saved.

Copenhagen’s Jordan Larsson was tasked with rescuing a famous point for the away side with the last kick of the game but was unable to beat Onana in goal for Manchester United, as the Cameroonian pulled off an incredible save to keep the score at 1-0.
