Ten different performances were shortlisted, featuring Mohamed Salah, Alexander Isak, Manchester United-linked Bryan Mbeumo and Cole Palmer.

Is Chelsea’s Palmer favourite to win poll?

Palmer was shortlisted for a historic four-goal haul in Chelsea’s 4-2 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion in September 2024.

Having equalised for Enzo Maresca's men in the 21st minute, the Englishman then scored three more times before the interlude, finding the net in minutes 28, 31 and 41 en route to an opening half laden with six goals.

"He scored four but he also could have scored two or three more," Maresca said in September. "It's important he stays hungry, ambitious and I know him from many years ago with the U23s at City and with the first team.

"What he is today as a boy is exactly what he was three or four years ago. Goals, assists, best player of the Premier League - this doesn't change the way he is."

In response to the Premier League asking for fans to vote, Chelsea’s reply was brief, suggesting that there should be only one winner.

“Cole Palmer against Brighton, next question,” the Blues’ X post read.
