No way back! Manchester United humiliate 27-year-old star by handing Cunha iconic jersey number
Manchester United have reportedly handed new signing Matheus Cunha an iconic jersey number, worn by some big names at Old Trafford.
Cunha arrived from Wolves at the beginning of the summer and is expected to be the team's star man, alongside Bruno Fernandes.
His arrival is set to lead to the departure of Marcus Rashford, who spent the last six months of the season on loan at Aston Villa and has now been stripped of his jersey number.
Rashford had the #10 jersey, which, according to reports, has now been handed to Cunha.

Cunha will not be the only new signing for Ruben Amorim this summer as the Red Devils desperately try to push through a deal for Bryan Mbeumo and Villa striker Ollie Watkins.
Rashford, meanwhile, is attracting interest from Bayern Munich and Barcelona as he looks to find a new home for next season, especially with the 2026 World Cup in view.
Bayern seem to be the likeliest destination at this point, but no formal offer has been made for the 27-year-old, who has failed to live up to expectations despite the huge potential.
