Onyekuru on target: Super Eagles star scores for Al Feiha in 2-1 win against Al Akhdoud

Super Eagles of Nigeria star Henry Onyekuru is back on the social media trends.

The 26-year-old is making headlines for his activity on the football field.

Al Feiha recorded a 2-1 victory against Al Akhdoud in a Saudi Arabia Professional League fixture on Friday, October 20, 2023.

Onyekuru scored the first goal of the game in the 29th minute, assisted by Abdelhamid Sabiri.

Al Akhdoud responded with the equalizer through Nigerian striker Saviour Godwin assisted by Alex Collado in the 45th minute as both teams went to the halftime break level.

In the 66th minute, Onyekuru turned provider for Fashion Sakala to put Al Feiha back in front.

In the 89th minute, Onyekuru was substituted for Nawaf Al Harthi as Al Feiha held on for a massive three points.

Onyekuru has now scored in back-to-back games after outshining Odion Ighalo's Al Wehda before the start of the international break.

Onyekuru returns to action when Al Feiha takes on Al Ain in their next league fixture scheduled for Tuesday, October 24, 2023.
