Oshoala's teammate and Ballon d'Or winner Putellas trains with group after long injury layoff
Barcelona's star midfielder has returned to training with the group after a long injury layoff that has seen her miss the Women's Euros and the entirety of this season up until this point.
Putellas is one of the best female footballers in the world, and she is the awardee of the Ballon d'Or in the two previous editions.
Putellas returns from injury
The 29-year-old midfielder suffered an ACL injury in the build-up to Euro 2022 and needed to undergo surgery which ensured she missed the tournament, and has been out of action ever since.

After being sidelined for nearly 10 months, and returning to individual training in February, Putellas returned to train with the group today.
Videos of her in training were posted by the Barcelona Femeni social media page, along with pictures of her being welcomed back by her teammates, including Asisat Oshoala.

The date for her return to the pitch is unknown, but her involvement for the rest of the season is imminent.

Barce receive major boost ahead of UWCL run
The UEFA Women's Champions League knockout stages started last week, with Barcelona getting a slender victory away at Roma.
Putellas was Barcelona's best player last campaign, winning the tournament's golden boot, and with the level of teams left in the competition, Barcelona will need all the help they can get, and Putellas's return comes at an opportune time.
