Victor Osimhen has been left out of ESPN’s top forwards for the 2024-25 season.

Despite the on-loan Galatasaray forward scoring 26 league goals in 30 appearances and 37 times in 41 in all competitions, the Nigerian was excluded.

Osimhen, 26, won the double in Turkey in the concluded season, ending top scorer in the Super Lig season and notching five goals en route to the domestic cup success.

However, the Nigerian’s numbers did not move the needle in ESPN’s ranking.

Kylian Mbappe tops ESPN’s list, with the Frenchman showcasing his extraordinary pace and skill with a record-breaking 43 goals in his debut season at Real Madrid.

Robert Lewandowski (Barcelona) comes in second, proving age is just a number as he scored 40 goals at 36, leading his team to a domestic treble.

Alexander Isak (Newcastle United) is sixth, earning recognition for his lethal scoring and vital contributions to his club's success.
