Chelsea fell to a 0-2 defeat at home against Brentford in the Premier League on Wednesday night, April 26, 2023.

The Blues dominated possession in the second half and created chances but lacked the cutting edge in the final third.

Chelsea's wastefulness in front of goal saw them punished even further as Bryan Mbeumo doubled Brentford's lead in the 78th minute in what ultimately settled the contest at Stamford Bridge.

Brentford held on for a big 2-0 win against Chelsea as the Bees are now up to 9th on the summit, while Chelsea remain 11th - 9 points from the drop zone.
