Phil Foden's Mother arrested following nightclub incident

The incident, which occurred on September 9, escalated quickly leading to her arrest. This development comes as a stark contrast to the celebratory mood following her son's performance in a Euro 2024 qualifier.

The evening began with Rowlands and her friends enjoying their time at Bentley's bar. However, things took a sour turn when she flicked the hat off Paul Shortman, another patron at the venue. 

This seemingly trivial action triggered a series of events that eventually led to her ejection from the club and subsequent police intervention. 

Bodycam footage from the responding officers vividly captured the ensuing tussle before Rowlands' arrest. Despite attempts to evade, Rowlands, 44, and her group were eventually subdued and detained as reported by Daily Star.

The incident moved to Llandudno magistrates' court, where a contrasting image of Rowlands emerged. She presented a calm demeanour in court, markedly different from the night of her arrest. 

Although cleared of assault, she was fined for her conduct. Rowlands' candid confession in court revealed her rare indulgence in alcohol: "I do not drink often but when I do, I make up for time. I am like an animal." 

CCTV footage from Bentley's displayed the initial hat incident, showing Rowlands knocking off and then attempting to replace Shortman's cap, an act she described as "just a bit of fun." 

Her interaction with the police, however, was less light-hearted, as she admitted to her aggressive behaviour: "I kicked off with the police officers. I was a bit of a b****.”
