Marcus Rashford grabbed the headlines on Thursday night, scoring a brilliant brace which helped the Blaugrana beat Newcastle and start their Champions League campaign with a win.
His two goals against Newcastle took his tally in the Champions League to 14 goals, which effectively took him level with the great Delima Ronaldo. Rashford also achieved it quicker.

Newcastle played with intense pressure from kick-off and had Barcelona on the ropes for the opening 15 minutes. The Blaugrana slowly played their way into the game, with Rashford excelling as an outlet on the left flank.
His first goal came just before the hour mark, and his second, a sensational, forceful strike, came about 10 minutes after.

Rashford scored 13 Champions League goals in the Champions League for Manchester United. He did not manage to add to his tally in his four appearances at Aston Villa and has now added two more to the count. He achieved his tally of 14 UCL goals in 38 appearances.
Rashford’s goal brought him level with the Brazilian Ronaldo, who also scored 14 goals in the competition, according to TNT Sport.
