Relief for Amorim as Manchester United mathematically escape Premier League relegation
The Red Devils' poor performance in the Premier League continued on Sunday following their 1-0 defeat to Wolves at Old Trafford.
Ruben Amorim’s team’s poor campaign has seen them languish in 14th place in the EPL table, three places away from relegation.
They are currently on 38 points, having won just 10 games, lost 15 and drawn eight in 33 Premier League matches.
Man United safe from relegation
According to ESPN on X, Man United are set to remain in the Premier League despite losing to Wolves.

The outlet tweeted that “Manchester United are mathematically safe from relegation this season 🚨🙌. They will stay in the Premier League another year!”
The Red Devils have had a difficult season that saw former manager Erik ten Hag sacked in December.
The appointment of Amorim seemed like a change was coming to the club, but his arrival has not made any difference.
However, Man United are still in the hunt for a trophy this season and could end up winning the UEFA Europa League.
They defeated Lyon on Thursday night to advance to the semifinal of the tournament, with their next game set to be against Athletic Bilbao.
