Both goals were his eighth and ninth goals in the last eight appearances to maintain his sizzling form for the London side.

It is the first time Richarlison has scored in four straight Premier League matches since March 2021 according to the Premier League website.

The Spurs frontman's latest effort underlines his increased ruthlessness in front of goal after a difficult time at the club.

Richarlison has now scored 9 goals in his last 8 matches in the PL.

Nevertheless, despite coming back to haunt his former team, the Toffees ensured it was not a completely joyful return for the striker.

Sean Dyche’s men refused to go down at home after coming from behind to snatch a share of spoils in added time.

Talented centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite netted in the fourth minute of added time to deny Richarlison and Spurs all three points after Jack Harrison’s first half equaliser kept the home side in the game.

But despite the result, with confidence sky-high, Richarlison will be aiming to continue his hot scoring streak when Tottenham face Brighton and Hove Albion next in their fantastic London home.
