Rodri is the best not Vinicius or Bellingham — Afrobeats superstar declares

Afrobeats superstar Odumodublvck has declared Manchester City midfielder Rodri the best footballer in the world, suggesting he is more deserving of this year's Ballon d'Or than the current frontrunners, the Real Madrid duo of Vinicius Jr. and Jude Bellingham. 

Vinicius and Bellingham led Los Blancos to a LALIGA and Champions League double last season. The Brazilian was named UCL Player of the Season, while his English teammate was the MVP in the Spanish top flight. 

The pair are believed to be leading the race for France Football's coveted prize; however, their underwhelming performances in this summer's international tournaments have caused fans to source for alternatives. 

Vinicius’ performance for Brazil did not reach the heights he maintained with Real Madrid last season and due to indiscipline, he was unavailable in the quarter-final against Uruguay, when the Selecao got knocked out. 

Bellingham, on the other hand, has scored two important goals for England, and the Three Lions are still alive in the European Championships; however, his overall play has repeatedly been called into question. 

The Declan Rice crooner is an avid football fan who has proclaimed to be a Barcelona faithful. Following Rodri’s flawless performance to help Spain depose France in the European Championship semi-final, the Declan Rice crooner stated that the Manchester City midfielder was the best footballer in the world, not Vinicius of Bellingham.
