Vinicius Jr pens apology to Brazil after Copa America

Star forward Vinicius Jr. wrote a moving letter to Brazil's supporters following their country's loss from the Copa America 2024 quarterfinals at the hands of Uruguay.

After ninety minutes, there was still no score between the two teams, but Dorival Junior's team fell 4-2 in penalties.

Vinicius was not used in the intense match after receiving a yellow card in the last group-stage match against Colombia (1-1).

Owing to his prior caution against Paraguay, he received a quarterfinal suspension.

The Selecao was doomed to lose after misses in the shootout from Douglas Luiz and Eder Militao.
