Arsenal is reportedly the frontrunner to sign the Brazilian international. For now, Rodrigo has declined contact with the Gunners, preferring to focus on his performances for Real Madrid.

The Brazilian is expected to discuss his future with Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso at the end of July. A potential transfer to Arsenal could cost around €90 million.

Last season, the 24-year-old Rodrigo made 30 appearances for Real Madrid in La Liga, scoring six goals and providing five assists.
