Arsenal put up a strong fight against Manchester City through 38 weeks but fell short in the end, with inexperienced and poor finishing costing Mikel Arteta's men.
The Gunners did not struggle for goals throughout the season but lacked the cutting edge when it mattered most, especially in games against Fulham, Aston Villa, and West Ham.

“I think they need a player who fits into a technically organized side, someone who can stretch defences.
"There’s been a lot of talk about Isak at Newcastle. You look at Isak and think ‘yes’.“You can see someone like him at Arsenal."
It remains to be seen whether Newcastle will countenance a transfer for Isak this summer, and even if they do, it will certainly be a record sale.
Isak, 24, scored 25 goals in 40 appearances for Newcastle across all competitions last season.
