Steph Curry hits dagger as Golden State Warriors beat the Phoenix Suns

The Golden State Warriors defeated the Phoenix Suns 113–112 on Saturday night behind a 3-pointer from Steph Curry with 0.7 seconds remaining.

It was the Warriors' sixth win in their previous seven games.

With 3.3 seconds remaining and the Warriors behind 112-110, Curry grabbed Brandin Podziemski's inbounds pass, spun, and drained a 33-footer to record his ninth 3-pointer of the game to score thirty.

With 32 points, Devin Booker led Phoenix, followed by Kevin Durant with 24.

Following Curry's three-pointer, the Suns had two opportunities, but Booker was fouled under the basket on the first and Durant was unable to take a shot on the second.

After making a layup in the third quarter, Green—who had avoided technical fouls since his return from an indefinite suspension in January—got a technical penalty while disputing a foul call.

In addition, Green taunted and insulted Suns center Jusuf Nurkic during the game. On December 12, Green struck Nurkic in the face, which resulted in Green's ban.

After joining the Suns at the trade deadline, Royce O'Neale scored three points in his debut.

Phoenix's other deadline addition, David Roddy, was not in action.

After missing the previous sixteen games due to a left hamstring strain, Gary Payton made a comeback for the Warriors, scoring 11 points.

Golden State returned to.500 for the first time since December 25th by avoiding being swept by the Suns in the season series.

In addition, the Warriors are back in the postseason race.

They moved up to the 10th place in the West, one spot above of Utah, in advance of their Monday night matchup with the Jazz.
