Super Eagles legend Mikel Obi sends message to Liverpool after winning Premier League title

The Reds matched Manchester United's EPL title record (20), making them the joint most decorated team in England.

Ex-Super Eagles midfielder Mikel Obi used his social media platforms to send his congratulations to Liverpool Football Club.

He wrote on Instagram, “Congratulations to Liverpool FC on winning the Premier League trophy.”

Liverpool has secured its first league title since 2020, a significant achievement for the club after several runner-up finishes in recent seasons.

Despite Arne Slot's team securing the Premier League title, the final standings for European competition remain undetermined. 

Several clubs are vying for Champions League qualification, including Arsenal, Manchester City, Newcastle United, Chelsea, and Nottingham Forest.
