A chartered aircraft that had taken off from the Victor Attah International Airport earlier in the day and landed at the Kigali Airport at dawn was used to transport the group of players and officials to East Africa.

The match between Zimbabwe and Nigeria took place at the artificial grass Huye Stadium, seating 20,000 spectators.

In that game, the Super Eagles had to fight their way back to a draw.

Nevertheless, they will now play Rwanda at the 45,508-seat multipurpose Amahoro Stadium.
