Shakespeare, an English coach, passed away on Thursday, sending shockwaves across the football community.

The 60-year-old manager passed away on Thursday after he was diagnosed with cancer last year.

Shakespeare helped Ndidi gain recognition and became a top player at Leicester City while he was coach.

Nidid expressed his sadness at the news of his former manager Shakespeare after he died of Cancer.

The Nigeria international who recently agreed new terms with the Foxes after his previous contract expired at the end of June shared a picture of the former manager on his Instagram story.

Ndidi made 25 appearances under the guidance of Shakespeare before getting sacked in December 2017.

Before his death, Shakespeare worked with many clubs in England, including being an assistant to Claudio Ranieri when Leicester City won the Premier League in the 2015/2016 season.

Then, after the Italian coach was fired in January 2017, Shakespeare took over and brought Ndidi into the limelight.

Other Foxes players have also expressed their sadness at learning of the abrupt death of the former manager of Leicester.
