Super Eagles Update: Finidi boys ramp up jollof war preparation with sweaty sessions [PHOTOS]
The Super Eagles camp is now at full strength as the full complement of players have joined up under interim boss Finidi George ahead of this month's friendly double-header against Ghana and Mali.
After a staggered arrival of players into the Moroccan city of Marrakech, the squad has been put through their paces in intense training sessions as they ramp up preparations for the "Jollof War".
The Super Eagles's social media channels gave fans a glimpse into the hard work being done, sharing photos of the group sweating it out in the sun under George's watchful eye.
There was also a picture celebrating the "winning team" from an internal training game, with the likes of Bright Osayi-Samuel, Alex Iwobi and Stanley Nwabali leading the celebrations.
Last to Arrive at Super Eagles camp
Osayi-Samuel was among the final trio of players to link up with the rest of the group in Morocco, joining Kenneth Omeruo and Benjamin Tanimu as the last arrivals.
With a full 23-man squad now at his disposal, George will be hoping to quickly implement his tactics and shape his side ahead of the crunch Ghana clash on March 22nd.
Nigeria will then round off the international window by taking on the Eagles of Mali four days later as they step up their preparations for major qualifiers coming up.
With the ominous prospect of missing out on the continental showpiece, there is little margin for error in these crucial preparation games against familiar West African foes.
George will be demanding his players leave nothing in the tank during these gruelling training sessions as the countdown continues to the latest instalment of international football's "Jollof War".
