Taiwo Awoniyi and teammates left fuming after late VAR call denies Forest crucial point
Josh Dasilva scored a 94th-minute winner for Brentford that slipped through Keylor Navas at the near post to do significant damage to Forest's survival aspirations but VAR awarded the goal after a lengthy check for a potential offside interference by Yoane Wissa.

Nottingham Forest boss on the VAR decision
Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper said after the game:
"The guys are fuming, the subs and staff could see it live and we thought it would be the opposite. I'm waiting to see the clear-cut image to make it ok. You can't make it on judgment or assumption.
"If he is offside, he would have been affecting the goalkeeper's vision. If it is onside, it is onside. I really hope at this stage of the game and the season that they didn't make a call when they're under pressure on assumption.
"I hope I see an image where Wissa is definitely onside. It's a massive call. It will make the headlines for you guys."
Forest continue to fight for their safety
Nottingham Forest remain 17th after this defeat, just one point above fellow strugglers Leicester City having played a game more. They need to quickly bounce back from this defeat with time running out.
