Take Hojlund and Rashford too — Reactions as Napoli offer Man United discount on Osimhen under ONE condition

Napoli have reportedly offered Manchester United a cut-price deal for Osimhen to facilitate the transfer of Alejandro Garnacho the other way, a proposal that excites Red Devils fans. 

The Partenopei have a keen interest in the Argentina international—following the exit of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to PSG—and, as Pulse Sports reported, have sent in an official bid, which the Red Devils rejected. 

Napoli reportedly offered a figure around €40 million, a fee believed to be significantly less than the Red Devils ask for the 20-year-old winger whose contract runs until 2028. 

Manchester United have a standing interest in Victor Osimhen. According to reports, they approached Napoli for the Nigerian for a move this winter transfer window, but the former Lille man expressed his desire to finish the season with Galatasaray. 

The Red Devils are expected to return for Osimhen in the summer; hence, with that knowledge in mind, Napoli are hoping to negotiate a two-way deal. 

The report comes from Italian publication II Mattino, that claims the 2022/23 Scudetto champions have already reached an agreement on personal terms with Garnacho. This leaves an agreement with Manchester United to be had. 

According to the report, Napoli are promising a discount on Osimhen's reported €75 million release clause, should the Red Devils bring down their ask for the former Atletico Madrid academy star. 

Manchester United fans have taken to social media, expressing excitement in reaction to the news, with some even offering more players.
